Eat Drink SF: Taco Knockdown

Last Thursday we spent the evening tasting special taco creations from 11 different local restaurants, and it was delicious! Many of the restaurants that participated don't have tacos on their actual menus, so it was amazing to see the recipes that the chefs came up with.

Participating restaurants included Pizzeria Delfina, Bistro Boudin, Tacolicious, and even Michael Mina's Test Kitchen. Our favorite? Hands down, it was ROOH's Indian Chicken 65 taco. I'd never heard of ROOH before, but I'm definitely heading there for lunch asap.

The Taco Knockdown was held at an amazing space that we'd never been to - the Pearl SF. Two floors of gorgeous dark wood interiors, and a rooftop deck with views of the docks (and a margarita contest!).

Eat Drink SF hosts their weekend-long food event every year. We'll be back for more next year!
