One of my favorite things to do is take photos of bloggers who haven't worked with a professional photographer before. The vibe is a mixture of excitement, anxiety, and endless possibility, which is intoxicating. It's so fun to answer questions and guide them through the experience, while also watching progress into getting comfortable, having fun, and finding the rhythm of being in front of a professional camera.

One of my favorites Valentine's Day sessions was with Shannon of Style by Lolly. She went girly, but still edgy. Instead of roses, she picked tulips. No dress, but jeans and a tee. She did keep the red lips and glittery heels, but they were wedges and she paired the whole outfit with a statement necklace.

I know that the 90s are back in style, but Kelsey brought it with a flashback to the 70s. Orange bell bottoms, huge sunglasses, and colorful fur, perfectly styled with white and gold accessories. What you can't tell from the photos is that Kelsey is actually short, but did she stun in this outfit anyway? Yes she did!

I haven't been to NYC as an adult. The only time I'd traveled there before was to visit my cousins when I was 10 years old. I barely remember that trip, but I think I spent most of my time in their Bronx apartment, eating pizza and listening to my older cousin's ska collection.

Katty Xiomara was the last runway show I saw during my time at NYFW. It was also my first experience in a runway photography pit, and the most amazing way to end the week.

This runway showcase by Francesca Liberatore was one of the first shows I went to at NYFW and it definitely set a high standard! I left completely inspired. I loved all of the lace and fur, with classic feminine touches that still somehow made the models look fierce and empowered. ...

On the last day of NYFW, Tamryn of wannabefashionblogger.com and I went shooting and she wore some of my favorite outfits of the whole trip! This floral overalls-skirt she wore with pointy brown boots and a dusty pink coat made for the perfect winter look. The colors are a bit subdued, but still pop against the pale gray cityscape. ...

It was the second-to-last day of my NYFW trip, and I'd already seen such a wide variety of designs. Going into Louis Verdad's runway show, I wasn't sure what to expect. It turned out to be one of my favorite shows!

A few weeks ago, an amazing thing happened.

My favorite boba shop (Boba Guys, holla!) was on its last day of 12 Days of Christmas, where they hide a gift card in a different location every day for fans to hunt. I'd tried to pick one up earlier in the week, but missed it literally by seconds (I watched someone walk out with it right as I pulled up), and didn't think I'd have another chance. So there I was, 7:30am and getting ready for work, when I checked their Instagram and lo and behold, the final card was waiting at the top of Twin Peaks. I thought for a moment whether I was being responsible, but decided I should choose life (who ever regrets not working enough, anyway?) and jetted out the door and pulled up... just to see another girl was already talking to Bin (one of the founders). Defeated, I started to pull away, but decided to take a chance and ask, just to make sure. ...
