NYFW: Verdad

It was the second-to-last day of my NYFW trip, and I'd already seen such a wide variety of designs. Going into Louis Verdad's runway show, I wasn't sure what to expect. It turned out to be one of my favorite shows!

Verdad's designs are effortlessly elegant, simple, and yet somehow make a statement. He mixes heavy fabrics, basic colors, and a modern twist on classic designs to create a sophisticated bohemian feel. I would be absolutely giddy to wear anything in this collection!

I also captured a few photos of the audience. Despite this being my first time at NYFW, it's very clear that the runway audience is dominated by bloggers. I hear that this is quite different from how it was as recently as just a few years ago, when only media and celebrities were allowed inside. I'll post a recap of my NYFW experience as an "outsider" (I'm somewhere in between blogger and photographer) soon.
