Co-living during the pandemic
The pandemic has been a scary unknown, but one thing we do know is that we’re supposed to stay away from other people in order to stop the spread of the virus. This becomes a bit more difficult when you live in a home with 19 roommates.
Motorcycle protest in support of BLM
Last weekend my friend Ash and I organized a peaceful protest for the motorcycle community of Los Angeles in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. We didn’t know what to expect, or how many people would even show up, but I made a flyer and we spread the word as much as we could.
Things to do in Los Angeles: Museum of Illusions
Had such a fun time today exploring the Museum of Illusions in Hollywood, Los Angeles. There are multiple rooms with all kinds of crazy illusions that you can pose inside of. Ever wanted to fall off a cliff? You can! Scale a building? Yes! Fight a huge octopus? Mhmm!
Hotel Review: Kimpton La Peer, Los Angeles
Another day, another hotel review! Obviously I love collaborating with hotels, and LA is one of my favorite places to visit, so here’s another gorgeous LA property for you.
Hotel Review: Kimpton Everly, Los Angeles
By now you guys know how much I love the Kimpton Hotels brand, so of course I was super excited to stay at one of their LA properties that I’d never been to: The Everly Hollywood.
May in L.A. recap
I recently flew to Los Angeles for a few days for a work trip, and the lovely @chelseapearl joined me. If you know me, you know L.A. is one of my favorite places! There are so many fun new spots to visit every time I go, so I figured why not start recap'ing my trips!
Hotel Review: Kimpton's La Peer, Los Angeles
Kimpton's newest location is also it's most luxurious. La Peer is located right off Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, and I was lucky enough to stay there during my last trip to LA. And guess what... I'M OBSESSED.
Salvation Mountain: a magical desert oasis in Southern California
Most people aren't aware that there is a strange, colorful oasis in the desert between Los Angeles and San Diego. I heard about it many years ago and have always wanted to journey to see it for myself. A few days ago, I finally made it, and it felt like home.
My love story with LA
I don't actually remember the first time I came to LA, but I know that since then, it's felt like a second home.
Museum of Ice Cream, LA
The second I heard about the Museum of Ice Cream opening in L.A., I knew I had to roadtrip down there to visit! This was before MOIC announced that it was coming to San Francisco, but honestly, no regrets! I'll happily go to both.
City guide: Los Angeles
Some of you may know that L.A. is like a second home to me. I go there as often as possible, and love every second of it. There is an inexplicable energy in La La Land - it's a creative mecca, where people go to pursue their dreams.L.A. gets a bad reputation for being fake, but there are actually an incredible number of amazing views, restaurants, museums, and neighborhoods to explore.
Check out some of my favorites from my last trip to the city of endless creativity!
Free download: Museum of Ice Cream phone wallpaper
Haven't gone to the Museum of Ice Cream yet? Not to worry! You can add a little magic to your everyday with these phone wallpapers that I captured during my visit.
Allison in La La Land
I had the most amazing trip to LA a few weeks ago, and had the opportunity to shoot with some new bloggers, as well as one that I shot with previously in Palm Springs - Allison of www.butwhatshouldiwear.com. We had a ton of fun romping around Melrose Ave, and actually ended up finding a lot of the Palm Springs vibes in Los Angeles (not surprising, since we both love succulents).
