NYFW: Fashion with the Stylist LA

Choosing and finding outfits for NYFW can be stressful, so I was super excited to collaborate with the Stylist LA on some of my outfits! If you haven't heard of TSLA, they're an awesome outfit rental spot with locations in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The Experience

The SF space is super fun, with racks of outfits, a fireplace, an adorable little sitting area by the window, and the cutest accessories! The girls who work there are incredibly helpful but not overbearing - ask for Kara and you won't be disappointed (she'll be your new bff!).

They have dresses and two-piece sets and rompers of all styles and colors. I was amazed because literally every piece I tried on was the perfect size and looked great, so really it was just choosing my very top favorites out of all the beautiful choices.

The process is really easy: you come in, try on a bunch of cute clothes, choose your faves, and either pick them up right then and there, or pick up closer to your event date. Definitely bring a girlfriend to take pics! Or you can do it all online. You pay a small fee to borrow the pieces for your event, then you return them after and you're all set! They even have a sale rack that you can shop if you want to keep something for your own closet.

The Outfits at NYFW

I chose 3 outfits for NYFW: a velvet wrap dress, a 2-piece in a dusty floral print, and a white lace below-the-knee dress. It was fun to make each of these into winter-appropriate styles, since I tend to choose summery dresses. I've linked them for you below!

This 2-piece floral skirt + strapless top set was definitely a fave! It was easy to wear and the skirt flowed beautifully in the breeze. This would definitely be perfect for a warm day by the ocean, but also worked well (with tights) for exploring the Brooklyn Bridge. Rent it here.

This backless white lace below-the-knee dress was so comfortable and stretchy, and perfect for the winter weather of NYC in February. I paired it with my tan faux fur coat, black winter boots, and black cat-eye sunnies for a fun offbeat look. Rent it here.

ASTR is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands! I keep seeing it around, so I was super excited to pick up this velvet wrap dress. Very comfortable and actually quite warm, it paired super well with tights. The color was perfect for pics on the Highline! Rent it here.

I highly recommend renting from the Stylist LA for your next event or occasion. They're a small bossbabe-owned business that feels super personal - they really want you to look great. The selection of styles is big and they fit a variety of shapes and sizes.
