Holiday shopping guide: support local women-owned small businesses
If you’re going to shop this Black Friday weekend, might as well support small women-owned businesses! Here are my top picks:
Anna Monet Jewelry
Stunning earrings and necklaces handmade from ethically gathered horsehair and natural dyes. Anna, the artist behind this brand based in San Francisco, is a beautiful timeless soul and one of my good friends.
Luna Sibai
Luna creates gorgeous ceramic home goods and jewelry. Hand-made, locally based in the Bay Area, she has the most beautiful boho aesthetic (make sure to check out her Instagram).
Dear Survivor
An amazing female-owned brand based in San Diego, they use recycled materials and ethical manufacturing to create gorgeous earrings (and limited edition handbags). Plus they donate a percentage of their proceeds to preventing sex trafficking.

One of my favorite clean skincare brands hands down, it also happens to be made by a woman in San Francisco. Love their ingredients and sustainability focus, they also have a foundation which gives money to female entrepreneurs creating social impact through business.
APRÈS
A post-workout protein shake that’s delicious and has good-for-you ingredients, started in San Francisco by sporty babe Darby, and now based out of Venice.
SkinFX Med Spa
If you’re in LA and interested in getting some aesthetic rejuvenation (also makes for an amazing gift), I highly recommend Anjela and SkinFX Med Spa. She’s the sweetest human, so educational, and got me to stop being scared of getting beauty treatments like laser hair removal, Latisse for eyelash growth, and prescription grade Vitamin C. A super delicious snack alternative to nut butter, Ali in San Diego handmakes granola butter. Especially awesome for anyone with nut allergies, but honestly it’s so yummy that everyone will love it. Definitely the perfect stocking stuffer.
